Chapeltown Karate Club was formed by Sensei Gary Baker 6th Dan in July 2001 @ Newton Hall, Chapeltown. Gary who is British Army Veteran, has over 40 years experience in Martial Arts, studying Shotokan and now Wado Ryu Karate Do.
At CKC we teach Life Skills, Self Discipline, Motivation, Fitness, Balance, Flexibility, Focus & Co ordination and Much more for Children, Boys & Girls, 5 years of age upwards including Adults. We have Men & Women (Moms & Dads), even Grandads who are actively training with us regularly and prove that age is just a number.
Classes are held @ 4 Burncross Road, Chapeltown, S35 1SF (Entrance next to Come a Casa) Located in the heart of Chapeltown, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, approx 1 mile from M1 motorway, Junctions 35/35a.
Monday’s – Dedicated New Starters Class for 5 – 10 year olds @ 6.00 – 6.55pm.
Tuesday & Thursday’s – 6.00 – 6.55pm (Junior Grades)
7.05 – 8.00pm (Senior Grades)
Wednesday’s @ 6.00 – 6.55pm Mixed Class for All
7.00 – 7.45pm Ladies Kickboxercise.
We have Students from Wentworth, Grenoside, Thorpe Hesley, Deepcar, Stocksbridge, Wortley, Ecclesfield, Thurgoland, Hoyland, Sheffield Centre as well as Chapeltown & High Green !
